Introduced in 1973 the T3 is a traditional Japan built SLR of quality metal construction . This is a camera which will last the distance. It can shoot in auto mode/shutter priority or fully manual.
The metering is TTL (through the lens) via a CDS light cell. The meter requires 2x1.35 wein cells, LR44 type batteries. The LR44 delivers 1.5 volts so minor adjustment should be made for potential overexposure or more usefully use a hand held meter to guarantee accurate setting manual exposure.
The Asahi Pentax range of vintage SLRs which most of us are quite familiar with, are all well built cameras. Well, the Konica is very similar but heavier construction. The Konica, with lens weighs in at 950grams compared to the Pentax K1000 at 885grams. The Konica AR mount lens range covers wide angle to medium telephoto. The Konica AR lens options are all high quality optics and well reviewed. Comes with very servicable eveready case and fresh battery set. Pdf instruction manual.
If shooting film is your passion and you are looking for a camera which won’t let you down The T3, especially at this price point, is well worth considering.
